For my magazine project, I chose to do a special on Ed Sheeran as if for Volume Magazine on Pop-Folk Artists. For this specific opening article, I chose a piece talking about Ed Sheeran's song "The Hills of Aberfeldy." I chose pictures of Ed Sheeran to mirror the very pastoral, dreamy setting in his song. I also added polaroids to match the nostalgic, memories-based feeling of the song. And this project was especially oriented to lining and formatting type in a magazine layout with proper paragraph setup and line lengths and type size. It was a more technical project to improve our design and formatting skills in Adobe InDesign.
